If in past four years you worked in Ireland and paid income tax there, you may get your taxes back. Financial year in Ireland starts on the 1 of January and finishes on the 31 December, each year.
The amount of refund depends on many factors: total income you have earned, total taxes you have paid, period you have stayed in Ireland.
THOSE FORMS ARE NECESSARY FOR YOUR TAX RETURN. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE P45 OR P60 FORM INCOM TAX MAY ORGANIZE FINDING IT.
- Form P45 – is the document, which is issued by your employer when you leave employment. It states your total income and total taxes till the date left.
- Form P60 - is the document, which is issued by the employer in the end of tax year. It shows your total earnings and total taxes paid during the tax year.
- Subcontractor Monthly Statement if registered under Construction Industry Scheme and are self-employed. Subcontractor Monthly Statement are issued by your contractor in the end of each month.
Tax Refund fee is 8% of the refundable amount, but not less than 50 euro of refundable amount is less than 300 euro or 70 euro if refundable amount is more than 300 euro for each tax return of personal income taxes.
